Women of Color in the Workplace
A weekly, ongoing therapy group addressing the unique experience of professional women of color in Austin.
About the Group
Each week we'll focus on the following intentions:
Fostering a safe space to share experiences where culture is celebrated
Encouraging dialogue about the microaggressions and negative stereotypes that may keep you from showing up authentically in the workplace
Acknowledging the struggle of navigating institutional oppression - specifically in the current political climate
Using a process-oriented approach with a here-and-now focus to build awareness of how you engage and experience yourself and those around you
Incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, and realistic self-care strategies to reduce burn out
